* A Phillips head screwdriver
* A flat head screwdriver
* A 6mm hex wrench
* A 10mm socket wrench
* A pair of needle-nose pliers
* A small hammer
Here are the steps to remove the ignition switch:
1. Use a drill or screwdriver to remove the two Phillip's head screws holding the plastic ignition switch cover in place.
2. Remove the cover by gently pry it off with a flat head screwdriver or your fingers.
3. Remove the two bolts that connect the switch to the handlebars using a 6mm allen key.
4. Pull out the ignition switch from the handlebars.
5. Rotate the lock cylinder clockwise and the ignition switch will come free from the cylinder.
To reinstall the ignition switch, simply reverse these steps.
