1. Run the engine for a few minutes to get the oil warm.
2. Turn off the engine and wait a few minutes for the oil to settle.
3. Locate the oil sight glass on the left side of the engine.
4. Hold a flashlight behind the oil sight glass and look at the oil level.
5. The oil level should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the oil sight glass.
6. If the oil level is below the "add" mark, add enough oil to bring it up to the "full" mark.
