How do you change the oil on a Yamaha TW200?

To change the oil on a Yamaha TW200, you will need the following items:

* New oil filter (Yamaha Part# 5GH-13440-00-00)

* New crush washer (Yamaha Part# 90430-08030-00)

* 1.1L or 34 US fluid oz. of engine oil (SAE 10W-40)

* Oil pan

* Funnel

* Wrench

* Oil filter wrench

* Safety glasses

* Gloves

Here are the steps involved:

1. Warm up your engine for a few minutes to help the oil flow out more easily.

2. Turn off the engine.

3. Locate the oil drain plug on the bottom of the engine, near the front.

4. Place the oil pan under the oil drain plug.

5. Use the wrench to loosen and remove the oil drain plug.

6. Allow the old oil to drain completely into the oil pan.

7. Replace the oil drain plug and tighten it securely.

8. Locate the oil filter on the right side of the engine.

9. Place the oil pan under the oil filter.

10. Use the oil filter wrench to loosen and remove the oil filter.

11. Inspect the old oil filter for signs of wear or damage.

12. Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.

13. Screw the new oil filter onto the engine until it is snug.

14. Add new oil to the engine through the oil fill port on top of the engine.

15. Use the funnel to add the oil slowly.

16. Check the oil level with the dipstick. The oil level should be between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the dipstick.

17. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.

18. Check the oil level again and add more oil if necessary.

19. Turn off the engine and dispose of the old oil and oil filter properly.
