1. Disconnect the battery. This is a safety precaution to prevent any electrical accidents while you are working on the power window.
2. Remove the door panel. There are usually a few screws or clips that hold the door panel in place. Once you have removed these, you can pry the door panel off carefully.
3. Locate the power window motor. The power window motor is usually located inside the door, near the bottom. It is a black or silver cylindrical object with a few wires attached to it.
4. Disconnect the wires from the power window motor. Use a screwdriver to pry the wires off of the terminals. Be careful not to damage the wires.
5. Remove the bolts that hold the power window motor in place. There are usually two bolts that hold the power window motor in place. Use a wrench to loosen and remove these bolts.
6. Remove the power window motor. Once the bolts are removed, you can pull the power window motor out of the door.
7. Reinstall the door panel. Once you have removed the power window motor, you can reinstall the door panel. Be sure to reconnect the wires to the power window motor before you reinstall the door panel.
8. Reconnect the battery. Once you have reinstalled the door panel, you can reconnect the battery. Your power window should now be working properly.
