1. Disconnect the battery. This is important to prevent any accidental electrical shocks.
2. Remove the airbag. Insert the key of the special tool into the hole provided in the steering wheel until it clicks. Using a screwdriver, pry open the airbag cover on both sides. Disconnect the airbag connector.
3. Remove the steering wheel. Unbolt the steering wheel using a 24 mm socket. Gently pull the steering wheel towards you to remove it.
4. Reinstall the steering wheel. To reinstall the steering wheel, simply reverse the steps above. Be sure to tighten the steering wheel bolts securely and reconnect the airbag connector.
