1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine. Allow the engine to cool down completely before beginning work.
2. Open the hood of the Cabrio. The release lever is located inside the vehicle on the driver's side footwell.
3. Locate the headlight assembly that needs to be replaced. The headlight assembly is located behind the plastic grill on the front of the vehicle.
4. Remove the plastic grill by prying it up with a flat-head screwdriver. Be careful not to break the plastic grill.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlight bulb. The electrical connector is located at the back of the headlight assembly.
6. Remove the old headlight bulb by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it out of the headlight assembly.
7. Install the new headlight bulb by inserting it into the headlight assembly and turning it clockwise until it is secure.
8. Reconnect the electrical connector to the headlight bulb.
9. Replace the plastic grill by snapping it back into place.
10. Close the hood of the Cabrio.
