1. Open the hood of the vehicle and locate the spark plugs. They are located on the top of the cylinder head, and are covered by black rubber caps.
2. Pull the rubber cap off of one of the spark plugs.
3. Use a spark plug wire removal tool (or a pair of pliers) to grasp the metal connector on the end of the spark plug wire.
4. Pull the spark plug wire connector straight up off of the spark plug.
5. Repeat steps 3-4 for the remaining spark plugs.
When reinstalling the spark plug wires, be sure to push the connectors firmly onto the spark plugs. If the connectors are not properly seated, it could cause the engine to misfire.
