Instructions:
1. Locate the bonnet release lever inside the car. On most 1995 Renault Clios, it is located on the driver's side footwell, near the door sill.
2. Pull the bonnet release lever. This will release the bonnet catch, allowing you to open the bonnet.
3. Locate the bonnet catch on the front of the car. It is a metal piece with a spring-loaded latch.
4. Insert a flat-head screwdriver into the bonnet catch. Push down on the screwdriver to release the latch.
5. With one hand, lift the bonnet and support it with one hand
6. Support the bonnet with a prop rod in the fully opened position. This will keep the bonnet from falling back down while you are working on the car.
