How do you fill transmission fluid 2000 clk Mercedes?

To fill the transmission fluid in a 2000 CLK Mercedes, follow these steps:

1. Park the car on a level surface and apply the parking brake.

2. Locate the transmission fill plug. It is usually located on the side of the transmission, near the bottom. The plug will have a 17mm hex head.

3. Remove the fill plug. Be careful not to drop the plug into the transmission.

4. Insert a funnel into the fill hole.

5. Slowly add ATF fluid (automatic transmission fluid) to the transmission. The transmission will require approximately 3 to 4 quarts of fluid.

6. Continue adding fluid until it begins to drip out of the overflow hole. The overflow hole is usually located on the side of the transmission, near the top.

7. Replace the fill plug.

8. Start the car and let it run for a few minutes.

9. Check the transmission fluid level. The fluid level should be between the "add" and "full" marks on the transmission fluid dipstick.
