Step 1: Engage the parking brake and turn off the engine.
Step 2: Locate and open the fuel filler door.
Step 3: Remove the fuel cap.
Step 4: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position. Do not start the engine.
Step 5: Locate the fuel pump access panel. It is located on the passenger side of the vehicle, behind the rear wheel.
Step 6: Remove the access panel by removing the screws that hold it in place.
Step 7: Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel pump.
Step 8: Disconnect the fuel line from the fuel pump.
Step 9: Remove the fuel pump from the vehicle.
Step 10: Install the new fuel pump.
Step 11: Connect the fuel line to the fuel pump.
Step 12: Connect the electrical connector to the fuel pump.
Step 13: Replace the access panel.
Step 14: Turn off the ignition.
Step 15: Replace the fuel cap.
Step 16: Close the fuel filler door.
Step 17: Start the engine.
Step 18: Check for leaks.
