1. Park the car on level ground and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood and locate the transmission fluid dipstick. It is usually located near the back of the engine, on the driver's side.
3. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean with a rag.
4. Reinsert the dipstick into the transmission fluid tube and push it all the way in.
5. Pull out the dipstick again and check the fluid level. It should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks on the dipstick.
6. If the fluid level is low, add some transmission fluid to the transmission fluid tube. Use a funnel to avoid spilling any fluid.
7. Reinsert the dipstick and check the fluid level again. Make sure it is between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks.
8. Replace the dipstick and close the hood.
Here are some additional tips for checking the transmission fluid on a 1994 E320 Mercedes:
- The transmission fluid should be checked regularly, especially if you are driving in hot weather or under heavy loads.
- If the transmission fluid is low, it can cause the transmission to overheat and fail.
- If the transmission fluid is dirty or discolored, it should be changed.
- You can change the transmission fluid yourself, but it is recommended that you have it done by a qualified mechanic.
