- 1x 12-volt alternator (preferably one with a built-in voltage regulator)
- 1x Alternator mounting bracket
- 1x V-belt
- 1x Wiring kit
Instructions:
1. Remove the existing generator from the engine.
2. Remove the generator mounting bracket from the engine.
3. Install the new alternator mounting bracket onto the engine.
4. Install the new alternator into the mounting bracket.
5. Install the V-belt onto the alternator and the engine pulley.
6. Connect the wiring from the alternator to the battery and the ignition switch.
7. Start the engine and check the voltage output of the alternator. It should be between 13.5 and 14.5 volts.
You may also need to re-route some of the wiring in your vehicle to accommodate the new alternator.
