Where is carbon canister in passat 2003 1.8 turbo?

Here's the location of the carbon canister in a 2003 Volkswagen Passat 1.8 Turbo:

1. Open the hood of your car.

2. Locate the air filter housing on the passenger side of the engine bay (covered with a black plastic cover).

3. Remove the air filter housing cover by pressing the release clip and lifting the cover off.

4. Set the air filter housing cover aside.

5. Underneath the air filter housing, you will find the carbon canister. It is a cylindrical container made of metal or plastic.

6. The carbon canister has two hoses connected to it. One hose goes to the fuel tank and the other hose goes to the engine.

If you need to remove the carbon canister, follow these steps:

1. Disconnect the two hoses from the carbon canister.

2. Unbolt the carbon canister from the car.

3. Remove the carbon canister from the car.
