- The fuel temperature sensor is located on the back of the cylinder head, just above the oil filter housing.
- The sensor is held in place by a 10 mm bolt.
- To remove the sensor, unplug the electrical connector and then loosen the bolt.
- Be careful not to drop the bolt into the engine.
- Once the bolt is loose, you can remove the sensor by pulling it straight up.
- When reinstalling the sensor, be sure to apply a sealant to the threads of the bolt.
- This will help to prevent oil leaks.
