1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of your Jetta.
3. Locate the power steering fluid reservoir. It is usually a black or clear plastic tank with a yellow cap. It is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment, near the firewall.
4. Check the fluid level in the reservoir. The fluid should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks on the reservoir.
5. If the fluid level is low, add enough power steering fluid to bring it up to the "MAX" mark.
6. Close the hood of your Jetta.
It is important to check the power steering fluid level regularly, as low fluid levels can cause damage to the power steering pump.
