This is located on the passenger side of the car, near the top of the engine compartment. Use a 10mm wrench to loosen the nut and remove the cable.
2. Remove the air filter box.
This is located on the driver's side of the car, just below the windshield. There are two Phillips head screws that need to be removed. Once the screws are removed, lift the air filter box straight up and out.
3. Locate the low beam bulb.
It is located on the driver's side headlight assembly, behind the air filter box.
4. Remove the rubber boot from the bulb assembly.
Grip the rubber boot and pull it straight off of the bulb assembly.
5. Release the metal spring clip.
There is a metal spring clip that holds the bulb in place. Use a flat-head screwdriver to release the clip.
6. Remove the bulb from the assembly.
Once the clip is released, twist the bulb counterclockwise and pull it out of the assembly.
7. Install the new bulb.
Insert the new bulb into the assembly and twist it clockwise until it locks into place.
8. Reattach the spring clip
Press the metal spring clip into place to secure the bulb.
9. Reattach the rubber boot.
Push the rubber boot back onto the bulb assembly until it seals tightly.
10. Replace the air filter box and the battery cable.
Replace the air filter box by lining it up with the mounting posts and pressing down until it snaps into place. Tighten the two screws to secure the air filter box. Reconnect the negative battery cable by tightening the nut with the 10mm wrench.
Test the new low beam bulb by turning on the headlights.
