1. Locate the bonnet release lever. It is usually located on the driver's side footwell, near the door sill.
2. Pull the bonnet release lever. This will release the bonnet latch.
3. Lift the bonnet. You may need to use both hands to lift the bonnet.
4. Prop open the bonnet. Use the bonnet prop to keep the bonnet open.

* If the bonnet is frozen shut, you can use a de-icer to melt the ice.
* If the bonnet release lever is broken, you can use a screwdriver or other tool to pry open the bonnet latch.
