The answer is: no

A 7.3 transmission is designed to be paired with a 7.3L Power Stroke diesel engine. The 351M is a gasoline-powered engine. The bellhousings of these two engines have different bolt patterns and configurations, so the 7.3 transmission cannot be directly bolted to the 351M.
