- New fuel tank assembly (including the fuel tank, sending unit, and fuel lines)

1. Ensure the backhoe is parked on level ground and the engine is turned off.
2. Disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical accidents.
Fuel Line Disconnection:
3. Locate the fuel lines connected to the existing fuel tank.
4. Use a fuel line disconnect tool (or pliers if needed) to carefully disconnect the fuel lines.
5. Plug or cap the open fuel lines to prevent fuel from spilling.
Fuel Tank Removal:
6. Remove the bolts or screws securing the fuel tank to the backhoe frame.
7. Carefully lower the fuel tank and remove it from the backhoe.
Fuel Tank Installation:
8. Place the new fuel tank assembly into position.
9. Connect the fuel lines to the new fuel tank, ensuring a tight and secure fit.
10. Secure the new fuel tank to the backhoe frame with the bolts or screws you removed earlier.
Final Steps:
11. Reconnect the battery.
12. Check for any leaks in the fuel lines by turning on the ignition but not starting the engine. If you notice any leaks, tighten the connections until they are secure.
13. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to ensure proper fuel flow to the engine.
