What does full freight allowed mean?

Full freight allowed (FFA) is a shipping term that means the seller pays all freight charges associated with the shipment of the goods to the buyer. Usually the seller adds this service to a customer’s invoice so that the customer incurs no out of pocket freight charges. This is different from other shipping terms where delivery costs may only be paid to a certain point, after which the buyer or consignee becomes responsible.
