The fuse box for the 2007-2009 Suzuki XL-7 is located in the engine compartment, on the passenger side of the vehicle. It is a black plastic box with a red cover.
Open the fuse box.
To open the fuse box, simply pry open the red cover with your fingers.
Find the fuse for the light.
The fuse for the light is labeled "TAIL LP". It is a 10-amp fuse.
Replace the fuse.
If the fuse is blown, simply replace it with a new 10-amp fuse.
Close the fuse box.
Once you have replaced the fuse, close the fuse box by snapping the red cover back into place.
