What lines are attached to the master cylinder?

There are three lines that are attached to the master cylinder:

* The brake line, which carries brake fluid from the master cylinder to the brake calipers or wheel cylinders.

* The reservoir line, which returns excess brake fluid from the master cylinder to the brake fluid reservoir.

* The pressure relief valve, which opens when the brake fluid pressure exceeds a certain level, to prevent damage to the master cylinder.
