1. Park the vehicle on a level surface.
Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down completely.
2. Locate the heater hose you will be connecting.
The hose that must be replaced and the connection points must be determined.
3. Drain the coolant from the system.
Follow the steps outlined in the vehicle's service manual to drain the radiator.
4. Disconnect the old heater hose.
Use pliers or a hose clamp wrench to loosen the hose clamps and remove the old heater hose.
5. Clean the heater hose connections.
Ensure the connections are free of dirt, debris, and corrosion.
6. Install the new heater hose.
Position the new hose and fasten the hose clamps. Make sure the hose is properly seated and connected to the heater hose outlet pipe and other attachments securely.
7. Refill the coolant system.
Follow the steps outlined in the vehicle's service manual to refill the coolant reservoir and radiator.
8. Start the vehicle and check for leaks.
Let the engine idle and ensure there are no leaks.
