1. Pull the hood release from inside the vehicle to pop the hood open.
2. Pull the release under the hood to fully raise it.
3. Locate the fuel pump assembly. It is housed within a plastic container on top of the fuel tank, located next to the left rear wheel.
4. Gently plied off the plastic cover to open the fuel pump assembly.
5. Locate the fuel pump relay. It is a small black box with two wires coming out of it.
6. Pull out the relay to disable the fuel pump.
7. Replace the cover and close the hood.
