Instructions:

- Apply a thin coat of clean hydraulic oil to the new filter's gasket to ensure a proper seal.
- Ensure the new filter has a gasket and it is properly seated before installation.
5. Installing the New Filter:
- Screw on the new hydraulic filter by hand until it's snug.
- Use a wrench to tighten the filter further, ensuring it's securely in place but avoid over-tightening.
6. Replenishing the Hydraulic Oil:
- Refer to your tractor's owner's manual to determine the correct hydraulic fluid type and capacity.
- Use a clean funnel to add new hydraulic oil to the reservoir.
- Check the oil level to ensure it's within the recommended range as per your tractor's specifications.
7. Testing the Hydraulic System:
- Lower the tractor's 3-point hitch or other hydraulically operated attachments.
- Move the control levers and observe the response of the hydraulic system to ensure it functions correctly.
8. Clean-Up and Maintenance:
- Clean any spilled oil using clean rags or paper towels.
- Reattach the hydraulic filter cap or cover if applicable.
- Dispose of the old hydraulic filter and oil in an environmentally responsible manner.
