NOTE: Always disconnect the battery before performing any electrical work on the tractor.
1. Park the tractor on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Remove the battery box cover and disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Locate the hydraulic pump. It is usually mounted on the right side of the engine, behind the fuel injection pump.
4. Remove the bolts that secure the hydraulic pump to the engine block.
5. Carefully pry the hydraulic pump off the engine block. Be careful not to damage the pump or the engine block.
6. Inspect the hydraulic pump for damage. If there is any damage, replace the pump.
7. Reinstall the hydraulic pump in reverse order of removal.
8. Reconnecting the battery cable.
