- For the cylinder head bolts, the initial torque is 66 lb-ft (90 Nm).
- After the initial torque, you should loosen all cylinder head bolts 180 degrees, then retorque to specifications, then turn an additional 90 degrees.
- After the final turn, ensure that the oil film has been removed from under all bolt washers/heads and inspect bolts to be dry with a clean bolt thread. Ensure no lubricant on washers as they are dry seated. (Torque: 295 lb-ft) (397 Nm)
