1. Disconnect the air conditioning lines from the orifice tube.
2. With a flare nut wrench, remove the orifice tube from the evaporator. O-ring may also need to be replaced on the orifice tube outlet
3. Apply a small amount of refrigerant oil to the inlet of the new orifice tube.
4. Thread the new orifice tube into the evaporator. Torque to 18-22 ft-lbs (24-30 N-m).

> - _The orientation of the orifice tube does not matter._
- _A new orifice tube and receiver drier are always recommended when doing an air conditioning system repair or replacement._
