2. Remove the fuel tank access panel located under the rear of the vehicle.
3. Siphon as much fuel as possible out of the tank using a siphon hose.
4. Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel pump by pulling the disconnect tabs on the fuel line connectors and pulling the fuel lines off.
5. Remove the fuel pump lock ring by turning it counterclockwise with a wrench.
6. Remove the fuel pump from the tank.
7. Install the new fuel pump by inserting it into the tank and turning the lock ring clockwise until it is tight.
8. Reconnect the fuel lines to the fuel pump by pushing them onto the connectors until they click into place.
9. Reinstall the fuel tank access panel.
10. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
