2. Inspect the oil filter. Make sure the oil filter is properly installed and that it is not clogged. If the oil filter is clogged, replace it.
3. Check the oil pressure sending unit. The oil pressure sending unit is located on the engine block. Make sure the sending unit is properly installed and that the wiring is not damaged. If the sending unit is damaged, replace it.
4. Inspect the oil pump. The oil pump is located on the bottom of the engine. Make sure the oil pump is properly installed and that the gears are not damaged. If the oil pump is damaged, replace it.
5. Check the main bearings. The main bearings are located on the crankshaft. Make sure the main bearings are not damaged. If the main bearings are damaged, the engine will need to be rebuilt.
If you have tried all of the above and the oil pressure is still dropping to nothing, you should take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic for diagnosis.
