1. Park your car on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Open the trunk and remove the spare tire.
3. Remove the fuel pump access cover.
4. Disconnect the fuel lines and electrical connectors from the fuel pump.
5. Remove the fuel pump mounting bolts and remove the fuel pump from the tank.
6. Discard the old gasket and clean the fuel pump mounting surface.
7. Install a new gasket and the new fuel pump.
8. Reattach the fuel lines and electrical connectors.
9. Replace the fuel pump access cover.
10. Replace the spare tire and close the trunk.
11. Start the engine and check for leaks.
Tips:
* Be careful not to spill any fuel when disconnecting the fuel lines.
* Use a new gasket when installing the new fuel pump.
* If your vehicle has a fuel pressure regulator, it is recommended that you replace it at the same time as the fuel pump.
