-Replacement low beam headlight bulb (check your owner's manual for the correct bulb type)
-Socket wrench set
-Phillips head screwdriver
-Needle-nose pliers
Instructions:
1. Park your Avalanche in a safe, well-lit area and turn off the engine. Allow the vehicle to cool down if it has been running.
2. Open the hood of your Avalanche.
3. Locate the low beam headlight housing on the passenger side of the vehicle.
-For the driver side, repeat the process on the driver side of the vehicle.
4. There are two retaining rings that hold the bulb in place. Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the retaining rings from the bulb.
5. Lift the low beam headlight bulb from the housing.
6. Hold the new low beam headlight bulb by its base and carefully insert it into the housing, aligning the tabs on the bulb with the slots in the housing.
7. Secure the bulb with the retaining rings.
8. Repeat the process on the other side, if needed.
9. Close the hood.
