How do you remove the cigarette lighter from a 1998 Chevy Lumina?

1. Locate the cigarette lighter. It is located on the center console, near the ashtray.

2. Pull the cigarette lighter out of the socket.

3. Use a small flat-head screwdriver to pry open the metal tabs on the sides of the cigarette lighter.

4. Remove the old cigarette lighter element from the housing.

5. Insert a new cigarette lighter element into the housing.

6. Snap the metal tabs back into place.

7. Push the cigarette lighter back into the socket.
