Instructions:
1. Prepare the vehicle. Disconnect the battery, disable the fuel system, and relieve the coolant pressure.
2. Remove the hood and radiator support. Remove the bolts holding the hood in place, then lift the hood off the vehicle. Remove the bolts holding the radiator support in place, then remove the radiator support.
3. Drain the engine oil. Place a fluid catch pan under the oil pan. Remove the oil drain plug, then allow the oil to drain completely.
4. Remove the exhaust system. Disconnect the oxygen sensors, then remove the bolts holding the exhaust system in place. Remove the exhaust system.
5. Remove the driveshaft. Disconnect the driveshaft from the rear differential, then remove the driveshaft from the vehicle.
6. Remove the transmission. Disconnect the transmission lines, then remove the bolts holding the transmission in place. Remove the transmission from the vehicle.
7. Remove the engine mounts. Remove the bolts holding the engine mounts in place.
8. Use an engine hoist to support the engine. Attach the engine hoist to the engine. Carefully lift the engine out of the vehicle.
9. Remove the remaining engine components. Remove the starter, alternator, and AC compressor.
10. The engine is now removed from the vehicle.
