How to Replace a Water Pump on a 1992 Pontiac Sunbird 4 Cylinder:

Tools Needed:

- A socket set

- A pliers set

- A 5/8-inch wrench

- A 1/4-inch hex key

- A flat-head screwdriver

- A hammer

- A drain pan

- A funnel

- Gloves

Parts Needed:

- New water pump

- New thermostat (optional)

- New gasket

- Sealant

- Coolant

Instructions:

1. Park your car on a level surface and let it cool down.

2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.

3. Engage the parking brake and chock the rear wheels.

4. Open the hood and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

5. Remove the upper and lower radiator hoses.
