* A ½-inch drive ratchet
* ½-inch drive socket set
* A steering wheel puller
* A pry bar
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the horn cap by inserting a small flat-head screwdriver into the hole on the side of the horn cap. Gently pry the cap off.
3. Remove the horn contact assembly by depressing the spring clip and pulling the assembly out.
4. Remove the steering wheel nut using a ½-inch drive ratchet and socket.
5. Install the steering wheel puller onto the steering wheel. Tighten the puller bolt until the steering wheel pops off.
6. Remove the steering wheel by pulling it towards you.
To reinstall the steering wheel, simply reverse the steps above. Be sure to tighten the steering wheel nut to 35 ft-lbs. and reconnect the battery.
