2. Remove the steering wheel. You will need a steering wheel puller to do this. Once the steering wheel is removed, you will be able to see the ignition switch.
3. Remove the ignition switch mounting bolts. There are usually two or three bolts that hold the ignition switch in place. Remove these bolts and take out the ignition switch.
4. Install the new ignition switch. Be sure to use the correct torque when tightening the mounting bolts.
5. Reconnect the battery.
6. Test the new ignition switch. Make sure that the car starts and stops properly.
