1. Turn the ignition key to the "On" position, but do not start the engine.
2. Hold down the trip odometer reset button until the display resets to zero.
3. While holding down the trip odometer reset button, turn the ignition key to the "Off" position.
4. Release the trip odometer reset button.
5. Turn the ignition key back to the "On" position, but do not start the engine.
6. The service engine soon light should now be off.
If the service engine soon light does not turn off, there may be a problem with your vehicle that needs to be diagnosed by a qualified mechanic.
