What to do if car fuel tank goes dry?

1. Pull over to the side of the road in a safe location. Do not attempt to drive any further as this could damage your car's engine.

2. Turn off the engine and apply the parking brake.

3. Get out of the car and open the gas cap. Check the fuel tank to verify that it is completely empty.

4. Call for roadside assistance or a tow truck to bring you fuel. Do not attempt to siphon gas from another car as this could be dangerous.

5. Wait for the fuel delivery. Once the fuel has been delivered, carefully add it to your car's gas tank.

6. Start your car and let it run for a few minutes to allow the fuel to circulate through the engine.

7. Drive slowly to a nearby gas station and fill up your gas tank.

Note: To avoid running out of gas in the future, keep an eye on your fuel gauge and refuel when your tank is close to empty. It's also a good idea to keep a small amount of emergency fuel in your car in case of unexpected situations.
