1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the transmission oil fill plug. It is usually located on the side of the transmission, near the top. It maybe near the dipstick for fluid amount verification.
3. Clean the area around the fill plug to prevent dirt from entering the transmission.
4. Remove the fill plug. Be careful not to spill any transmission oil.
5. Insert a funnel into the fill hole.
6. Add the recommended amount of transmission oil. The amount of oil required varies depending on the model and year of the vehicle. Refer to the owner's manual for the specific amount.
7. Replace the fill plug and tighten it securely.
8. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
9. Check the transmission fluid level using the dipstick. It may require further additions. Add more transmission fluid if necessary.
NOTE: It's important to use the correct type of transmission oil specified in the owner's manual. Using the wrong type of oil can cause damage to the transmission.
