Materials Needed:
* New oil filter (Honda part number 15400-35030)
* New crush washer for the oil drain plug (Honda part number 94109-14000)
* 5 quarts of new engine oil (5W-20 is recommended)
* Oil drain pan
* Funnel
* Wrench or socket set
* Rags
Steps:
1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Open the hood and locate the oil filler cap, which is usually marked with an oil can symbol.
4. Place the oil drain pan under the oil drain plug, which is located on the bottom of the oil pan.
5. Use the wrench or socket set to loosen the oil drain plug.
6. Allow the old oil to drain completely into the oil drain pan.
7. Replace the oil drain plug and tighten it securely.
8. Remove the old oil filter using an oil filter wrench or by hand if possible.
9. Apply a thin coat of new engine oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.
10. Screw on the new oil filter until it is snug, but do not over-tighten it.
11. Use the funnel to add the new engine oil to the engine.
12. Add 5 quarts of new engine oil.
13. Replace the oil filler cap.
14. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
15. Turn off the engine and check the oil level using the dipstick.
16. Add more oil if necessary.

* Dispose of the old oil and oil filter properly.
* Check the oil level regularly and add more oil if necessary.
* Change the oil and oil filter every 5,000 miles or according to the maintenance schedule in your vehicle owner's manual.
