1. Locate the OBD II port. It is usually located under the dashboard, near the steering wheel.
2. Insert a compatible OBD II scan tool into the port.
3. Turn the ignition key to the "On" position, but do not start the engine.
4. Follow the prompts on the scan tool to reset the Check Engine Light.
5. Once the light has been reset, turn off the ignition and remove the scan tool.
6. Start the engine and check that the Check Engine Light is now off.
