- Park your vehicle in a safe location. Turn off the engine and allow your vehicle to cool down.
Locate the fuel filler door on your Mazda Miata. It is usually located on the rear passenger side of the vehicle, behind a small access panel.
- Insert the key into the fuel filler door and turn it counterclockwise to unlock the door. Pull open the fuel filler door to access the gas tank.
- Remove the gas cap by turning it counterclockwise. Be careful not to spill any fuel.
- Insert the fuel nozzle into the gas tank filler neck. Make sure that the nozzle is securely in place to avoid any spillage.
- Begin fueling your Mazda Miata. Be careful not to overfill the tank, as this can cause damage to the vehicle.
- Once the fueling is complete, replace the gas cap and turn it clockwise to tighten it securely.
- Close the fuel filler door by pushing it firmly until it clicks shut.
