1. You can remove the fuel pump in your 1996 Honda Accord by following the Fuel Tank Removal procedure, or:

2. Raise and safely support the vehicle on jack stands.

3. Locate the fuel pump access door in the trunk, next to the spare tire.

4. Remove the access door cover.

5. Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector.

6. Remove the fuel line from the fuel pump.

7. Remove the four bolts that secure the fuel pump to the fuel tank.

8. Lift the fuel pump out of the fuel tank.
