Where is the oil filter on a Lexus rx 350?

2004-2009 Lexus RX350 Oil Filter Location:

- Open the hood and locate the oil filter housing. The housing is a cylindrical-shaped object located on the front, right side of the engine.

- You may need to use a flashlight to look for the oil filter housing.

- Remove the oil filter housing cap by turning it counterclockwise until it comes off.

- Remove the oil filter from the housing by turning it clockwise until it comes out.

- Apply a thin coat of new engine oil to the new oil filter gasket.

- Screw the new oil filter back into the housing by turning it counterclockwise until it is snug.

- Replace the oil filter housing cap by turning it clockwise until it is snug.
