How do you set ignition timing on Honda prelude 2.0 double overhead cam?

To set the ignition timing on a Honda Prelude 2.0 with a double overhead cam, you will need the following tools:

- A timing light

- A socket set

- A flat-blade screwdriver

- A 10mm wrench

Follow these steps:

1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine.

2. Open the hood of your car.

3. Locate the distributor cap. It is a black plastic cap on the side of the engine near the front.

4. Remove the distributor cap by turning it counterclockwise.

5. Locate the rotor. It is a small metal piece inside the distributor cap that rotates when the engine is running.

6. Turn the engine crankshaft until the rotor points to the #1 cylinder spark plug wire. You can do this by using a socket set to turn the crankshaft pulley bolt.

7. Once the rotor is pointing to the #1 cylinder spark plug wire, connect the timing light to the #1 cylinder spark plug wire.

8. Start the engine.

9. Aim the timing light at the crankshaft pulley.

10. Adjust the timing by turning the distributor housing clockwise or counterclockwise until the timing mark on the crankshaft pulley aligns with the 0-degree mark on the timing light.

11. Tighten the distributor hold-down bolt.

12. Replace the distributor cap.

13. Close the hood of your car.

Your ignition timing is now set.
