1. Set parking brake.
2. Disconnect negative battery cable.
3. Drain the coolant from the radiator by opening the drain cock.
4. Lift the vehicles front end and supported on jack stands.
5. Remove air filter housing.
6. Remove lower radiator hose.
7. Remove the two bolts holding the thermostat housing to the engine.
8. Remove gasket and thermostat.
9. Clean mating surface.
10. Install new thermostat and gasket, tighten bolts to 8 to 10 pound-feet.
11. Connect lower radiator hose.
12. Refill cooling system. Verify cooling system fills properly as the cooling system is bleed when refilling.
13. Start engine and let warm up, check for leaks, top off coolant as needed.
14. Connect negative battery cable.
