Ensure that the vehicle is in a safe, level position. Engage the parking brake and chock the wheels.
Locate the motor mount. It is usually found near the front of the engine, near the bottom of the vehicle. It is typically attached to the engine with a few bolts.
Unbolt the motor mount from the engine. Be careful not to drop any of the bolts into the engine bay.
Remove the motor mount from the vehicle.
Inspect the motor mount for damage. If it is broken or cracked, it will need to be replaced.
Install a new motor mount if necessary. Be sure to bolt it securely in place.
Once you have replaced the motor mount, lower the vehicle and test drive it to ensure that the engine is running smoothly.
