Park the car on a level surface and turn off the engine. Allow the engine and gearbox to cool down completely.
Locate the gearbox oil filler plug. On the Matiz, it is usually a plastic or metal plug on the side of the gearbox housing.
Clean the area around the oil filler plug to prevent any debris from entering the gearbox.
Unscrew the oil filler plug using an appropriate wrench.
Insert a funnel into the oil filler hole.
Add new gearbox oil slowly into the funnel until the oil level reaches the bottom of the filler hole. The recommended oil type and quantity can be found in the vehicle's owner's manual.
Replace the oil filler plug and tighten it securely.
Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
Check for any leaks around the oil filler plug.
If there are no leaks, the gearbox oil has been successfully added.
Note: It's important to use the correct type and quantity of gearbox oil specified by the vehicle manufacturer. Using the wrong oil or overfilling the gearbox can cause damage to the transmission.
