1. Park the car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Open the bonnet and locate the clutch cable. It is a flexible metal cable that runs from the clutch pedal to the transmission.
3. Find the clutch cable bracket on the clutch pedal. This is a small metal bracket that holds the clutch cable in place.
4. Use a screwdriver or spanner to loosen the nuts or bolts that hold the clutch cable bracket in place.
5. Once the nuts or bolts are loosened, you can remove the clutch cable bracket from the clutch pedal.
6. The clutch cable is now disconnected from the pedal. You can now remove the clutch cable from the car by following these steps:
a) Locate the clutch cable release lever on the transmission. This is a small lever that is connected to the clutch cable.
b) Use a screwdriver or spanner to pry the clutch cable release lever away from the transmission.
c) Once the clutch cable release lever is pried away, you can pull the clutch cable out of the transmission.
That is it! Now the clutch cable has been disconnected from the pedal and the car. You can now replace it with a new one.
